American Designed and Built Quality
All SunSetter products are designed in the United States of America. Our retractable awnings and EasyShade solar screens are assembled in our McAllen, Texas factory. Each unit is built under the strictest quality control procedures to ensure that you will be completely satisfied with your awning or retractable solar screen.
High-Quality Components
All of our awning frame brackets, bars, and arm clamps as well as our EasyScreen and EasyShade housings and side channels are made from durable aluminum with a baked-on powder coat finish that never rusts or needs painting. Most of our components and housings are sourced domestically or through high-quality North American and European suppliers and are available in a variety of colors to best match your home's exterior.
Our lateral arm awning models feature dual stainless steel chain systems to resist corrosion for years of worry-free operation. This system also provides the strength to support awning projections up to 13 ft. 1 in. from the home.
These quality materials allow SunSetter to offer awning widths up to 20 ft. EasyScreen widths up to 22 ft., and EasyShades up to 12 ft. for maximum shade coverage and sun protection.
Somfy® Motors on All Motorized Models
Our motorized awnings, EasyScreens and EasyShades use Somfy motors which have been acknowledged as the industry leader in awning and screen motors for over 50 years. These motors can be connected and synced with a variety of devices and sensors to automate your awning, EasyScreen or EasyShade and make any home a “smart home”.
Superior Fabrics
SunSetter offers a variety of premium fabric options for our retractable awnings, EasyScreens, and EasyShades. Our awnings feature four quality fabric lines with over 60 color options between our Platinum Series and SunSetter Series. The Platinum Series offers our Performance Acrylic and Sunbrella fabrics which are both backed by a 10-year Limited Warranty while the SunSetter Series offers our Woven Acrylic and Laminate Fabric lines which are backed by a 5-year Limited Warranty. Whichever fabric line you choose, we are positive you will find the perfect fabric to fit your home décor.
EasyScreen come in a wide selection of the highest quality outdoor screen fabrics to provide insect and UV protection as well as privacy. SunSetter has options that block up to 99% of UV rays and are backed by up to a 10-year limited warranty.
Our EasyShade line comes standard with a premium vinyl-coated polyester screen that blocks 85% of the sun, wind and mist, but still lets in light and air. These premium screens are backed by a 5-year Limited Warranty and are available in Charcoal, Coral White, Cream and Desert Sand.
Wind Resistant
A durable SunSetter retractable awning and EasyScreens will withstand heavy winds while extended as proved by tests in an independent laboratory. However, we do recommend retracting your awning or EasyScreen when heavy winds start to pick up.
Easy Operation
Our retractable awnings, EasyScreens, and EasyShades offer easy operation with a one-touch Somfy® Remote Control on motorized models or simple hand crank operation on manual models. Whichever model you choose, you’ll be able to enjoy shade or sun in under 60 seconds!

SunSetter retractable awnings can be owner installed in just 2-3 hours over any kind of siding, including wood, stucco, masonry, aluminum, and vinyl. Our EasyShades are easily installed with a few simple tools and include all the necessary hardware to install into wood.
Low Maintenance
With our quality construction and durable materials, our products are designed to be low maintenance, providing you with years of trouble-free shade. For a SunSetter Awning, consider our Semi-cassette models or an aluminum hood to protect awning fabrics from the elements.
To keep your awning fabric looking its best, we do offer a Cleaning Kit that includes a long-handled scrub brush and two bottles of cleaning concentrate specifically formulated for acrylic fabrics.
Warranty
Every SunSetter retractable awning, EasyScreen, and EasyShade come with limited warranties against defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty lengths vary by product but are up to 10 years. We even offer All-Weather Warranties for the ultimate peace of mind.
