- Our 14 oz., 1000 Denier fabric has double
sided color and seven layers for maximum strength, protection, and
fade-resistance.
- A double coat of urethane
protects against UV degradation and scratches on top, and provides an easy-to-clean
surface.
- A thick, 7-mil vinyl pigmentation layer helps
color stay true and fade resistant for years.
- The innermost layer is 1000 x 1000 Denier scrim --
a tough layer made with industrial-grade round filament Dacron for superior wear and strength.
- There's an additional 4-mil layer of vinyl pigmentation on the underside.
- Two coats of urethane guard the underside
as well.
- In sum, our vinyl has the thickest pigmentation
you can buy, and no less than four coats of urethane for the best shield against UV
damage.

Stripes Make SunSetter® Awnings Brighter
and Cooler
All our decorator stripe patterns are purposely designed to
become lighter in color toward the top, changing to solid cream at the upper section of
the awning. This helps keep temperatures under the awning cooler, and lets in more light
under the canopy. When your awning is fully retracted, the cream color of the rolled-up
awning matches the color of the awning arms perfectly.
